National ADA Symposium Scholarship Stipend
The Great Lakes ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network are excited to announce the 2024 National ADA Symposium. The symposium will be taking place virtually May 6-8, 2024 and in-person June 9-12, 2024.
This year’s In-Person National ADA Symposium will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event will feature 93 sessions on a wide range of topics presented by nationally recognized experts on the ADA and disability issues, including keynotes from the President of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Kimberly Dowdell, and the Director of Accessibility Codes and Standards for United Spinal Association’s Accessibility Services, Marsha Mazz. The 2024 Virtual National ADA Symposium will be May 6-8, 2024 and will feature 36 sessions covering all areas of the Americans with Disabilities Act presented by nationally recognized experts in issues related to the ADA. The Great Plains ADA Center is also pleased to announce that they are pre-approved American Institute of Architects (AIA) Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) credits. Virtual Symposium Registration Deadline is close of business on April 26th.
The Great Lakes ADA Center will continue its history of supporting participation and attendance from across our six-state region by providing a limited number of stipends to cover the registration fee for attending either the in-person or virtual Symposium.
Application and Registration Deadlines:
Applications will only be accepted from individuals who work and/or reside in the Great Lakes Region (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, and WI).
Applications will be accepted through March 29, 2024. Email notification to recipients will be made by April 12, 2024 to allow selected individuals to meet the registration deadline.
This stipend is only valid for the registration fee to attend the 2024 National ADA Symposium and does not cover any pre-conference events. Individuals are responsible for their travel and personal costs associated with participation in either the in-person or virtual event as well as any pre-conference events they would like to attend.
