All private businesses, referred to as places of public accommodation and commercial facilities that affect commerce must follow the regulations and ADA standards for accessible design. The ADA prohibits places of public accommodation from discriminating on the basis of disability in the provision of its goods and services. Goods and services are required to be provided in the most integrated setting possible.There are 12 categories of places of public accommodation under the ADA:
