Physical Accessibility (the “ADA Standards”)
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is the federal agency that enforces Title III of the ADA, which includes compliance with the ADA Standards for Accessible Design for new buildings or alterations. But businesses with obligations under the ADA have an ongoing requirement to remove barriers (“readily achievable barrier removals”).
