ADA-Indiana’s Training Workshop on Communication Access
On July 29, 2022, ADA-Indiana commemorated the 32nd Anniversary of the Americans with
Disabilities Act, the ADA, by hosting an online training workshop on communication access and
effective communication.
Attendees learned about the requirements for “effective communication” under Title II and Title III of
the Americans with Disabilities and learned firsthand from people with disabilities about the
communication barriers and issues faced by people with disabilities.
